Default A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was det

Hello,

I have a form that accepts HTML as the text (formatted as tags; ie. <b>Text</b>). However, I keep getting the following error:

A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client

Is there any way to turn this off?

Thanks,

Brian Mains

Hi Brian,

This is a security feature of ASP.NET 1.1. Check the official ASP.NET site for more information how to work with this feature and / or how to disable it:

http://www.asp.net/faq/RequestValidation.aspx

Cheers,

Imar
