how i can protect my files from downloading,
because my file url is like /mydata/db.mdb

You can put your .mdb file under the wwwroot folder.
By doing so only the application has access to the .mdb file.

Generally I have the following folders in my Inetpub folder:
wwwroot,
database

As you can guess I store my database in the database folder.. :)

move the database directory or database file into the parent directory of your application.

Your Application directory probably looks like this:
wwwroot/ApplicationDirecotry/
wwwroot/ApplicationDirecotry/DatabaseDirectory/

Everyone that has access to your ApplicationDirectory also has access to your DatabaseDirectory.
To avoid this problem move the database directory or database file into the parent directory of your application. Your application should look something like this:

wwwroot/ApplicationDirectory/
wwwroot/DatabaseDirectory/
or
wwwroot/Database.mdb

SMTP = Simple Mail Transfer Protocol

thanks for your suggestion,it is working on my pc but when i upload my application where i upload my database file, in a root directory of my site or in a different directory but from both locations anyone can download the database. thanks again for giving your time
