Default passwords field gets empty on autopost..

hello everybody,

i have a registration form which contains two dropdown list one of which is binded when page is loaded and other dropdownlist when selected index of first dropdownlist is changed.

That works fine but the problem is as the page is autoposted on selected IndexChanged, password fields get empty it loses its data.

I tried using Ajax but I am not able to get the selected value of other Dropdown List. This both DropdownList are being populated from Database...

Any Suggestions will be helpful....

Best Regards,
Vivek.

A password textbox is going to be reset during a postback for security reasons. I am not sure what you are selecting in the dropdowns, but the text will reset on post back.. Maybe rethink the design of the page?

this u can do by using javascript . first display message, then add one script block with one javascript function which will do the redirection. then set timout property of the function in javascript. so after timout the function will execute and do the redirection automatically.

hope u got the logic
