Default Saving file on client machine

Hi All,
I hope u all will be in good health.
I have a datagrid on my page and a command button. On click on the command button, i want to save the data in the grid on the client machine( as a .csv file).
I try my best and now i can write this information in a file on server, but not on client. I can ask the user to open this file. But I don't want this. I dont want to save the file on server. I want that this file should directly save on client machine(no problem, if it prompt user with a save dialog box).
Plz help me.
Thanks in advance.

you are going to have to write the data to the HTTP Output stream. You may find this article helpful:

I will only tell you how to do it, not do it for you.

Unless, of course, you want to hire me to do work for you.
