i am not having any "coding problems or errors" :S..its just that when the user clicks to download the file he has the option to either open it or save it..if he chooses to save then i will have a good night sleep...if he opens then he want get to save the file..he can manipulate the data and everything on the report but at the end he cant save it...i was surfing the web and got to some articles explaing that when this issue occurs then the IE will add a tool button inside the standard buttons from which i can click to show the Excel toolbar..it worked once by mistake..i dont remember how i did it ... all i want is to know if there is any method clearer then the one i just said or even a clear view about that method in order to show the excel toolbar inside IE...
