Default Taking aspx code. Is this true?

Hello
I was told that is possible to take aspx code from websites? Is this true?

No it is not.You can take the HTML output only.

I am so glad it is not possible to take aspx code. But is it possible to take ASP 3.0 code? I think someone told me that.

It used to be possible. There used to be hack where you could append $$DATA (or something like that) to the end of the Url and get the source.

However, that has been fixed ages ago. To my knowledge, there are no currently known hacks that allow you to retrieve the source of another site.
