Default opening a Connection probelm on ASP page from .NET

Hi I have ASP.NET application and have asp pages in the application where I am trying to open a connection but cant open on ASP(.ASP) pages but I can open the connection with ASP.NET(.ASPX) page. When I try to open connection from an asp page I am getting the following error.

Error Type:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server (0x80004005)
[DBNETLIB][ConnectionRead (Error SIO_KEEPALIVE_VALS()).]General network error. Check your network documentation.

Do u have any ideas?

Do you have a KeepAlive value specified in the connection string?
