Checking Environment Variables Tutorial?

In the first paragraph of page 476 of Beginning ASP.Net 1.1, the author alludes to a tutorial on how to check whether Environment Variables are configured correctly, that is available through www.wrox.com

Do any of you know where said tutorial can be found?
