Default Stupid Visual Studio Question

Is there a way to turn off the autmatic reformatting in the HTML Source Window? I looked through the Options but I didn't find it easily (too many damn options).

The reason I would like this is that I'm getting frustrated when I put a bunch of time into indenting and formatting my HTML source for readability, only to have VS.NET come in and reformat it, making it unreadable. God bless them for that.

There a re a couple of options in the Options dialog you can turn off to minimize code formatting. However, it won't go away completely. Whenever you switch to Design View and drag a control on your page, the code will be screwed up. Tags capitalized, short hand CSS expanded to "long" hand with capitals etc etc. I am sure you have already seen this.

I usually copy the entire code before I switch to Design View, and paste it back when I return. Fortunately, all this frustration is gone in VS 2005.....
