Default Template Designer

Hi,

Please tell me the steps to use the Template Designer, or point me to some links for this information.

Right click on a DataList, click on Edit Template, and Item Template. Then in the Item template click - and nothing happens but a DIV tag shows in the properties ID.

I can write the code in asp(x) but I'd rather use the Designer.

Thanks in advance for your help.
