Are you looking for ASP.NET 1.x or 2.0 editors? You posted this in the 2.0 forum, and there is only one editor available right now: Microsoft's Visual Web Developer (Express Edition) that is free for the moment (while it's still in beta), but will cost $50 when it comes out....
Cheers,
Imar

In that case, you shouldn't be posting in the ASP.NET 2.0 forum, but in a 1.x forum instead.
Anyway, take a look at the Web Matrix: http://www.asp.net/webmatrix/
Cheers,

I think Intelli Sense is a complex feature to build, so it isn't available in all programs. You'll have to pay for features like this, I am afraid ;)
Some things just cost money, but IMO if you can afford it, VS.NET is worth its price.
I never used Web Matrix much, but is there no Intelli Sense at all??

Hi Imar,
Have you ever tried Microsoft's Visual Web Developer (Express Edition),
If so, can you please let me know whether it is Intelli Sence enabled or not, and how is the editor itself(specifically drawbacks).
Since, i m not able to run as it requires SP 2 on XP OS, and that is worth of 250 MB. else Microsoft's Visual Web Developer (Express Edition) is of very less space.
Thanks in advance.

Intellisense is in Visual Web Express
And not sure what you have for an OS, but here's the minimum requirements

Yeah, I tried Visual Web Developer Express Edition. In fact, I am writing a new book about it.... ;)
There is loads of Intelli Sense in VWD. I believe their tag line for the product is "Intelli Sense Everywhere" and that is true. It has improved much compared to VS.NET 2002 / 2003. You get more Intelli Sense in ASPX pages, more intelligent Intelli Sense in code behind files and even Intelli Sense in the Web.Config.
IMO, VWD is a *great* leap forwards when compared to 2002/2003. The HTML designer behaves much and much better. No more screwed up code when switching from code to design view, drag 'n drop in Design *and* Code View, XHTML compliant code by default, intelligent controls, dialogs etc. Also, the ASP.NET framework 2.0 brings many new cool features worth investigating.
While it's still in beta, get a free copy from the MSFT site, try it out and see if you like it.
Beware that sites created in VWD require the .NET Framework version 2. Those sites will *not* run on the 1.x framework.
Cheers,
Imar

Hi Imar,
Sorry, If I m unnecessarily stratching this point.
Since, I don't have admin login i m not able to install vwd at my pc.
But downloaded it from microsoft site:
http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/express/vwd/
Now the size is just about 2.65 MB, how does this small kid can do that great stuff you mentioned previously? Dose size matter?? or it is magic of Framework 2.0?
Please clear it.
