Hello

I have worked my way through 'WROX, Beginning ASP.NET 2.0' and written my own website, and deployed it to my host domain. However, any pages protected by a login, or any pages that access databases do not work. I have set NETWORK SERVICE write permissions as described in App.B. I noticed in the book and also in the videos from the ASP.NET website that any websites that are deployed do not contain databases.

Can someone tell me what I need to do to get my website working. I have uploaded my database and the ASPNETDB.MDF database, but presumable I need the host SQL server to access these to get my website working, would that be right?? I could ask the host engineers (again) but they don't seem to realise how dim a beginner can be.

Also, as an aside, why is the WROX United database, ASPNETDB.MDF 3mb, and when I have created one it is 10mb before any roles etc are added ?

If you have experienced these problems or know the answer I would be grateful for any help on this subject
