Well, that will depend upon your approach how you wish to display the tooltip, an e.g. that you can use is as below:

 foreach (TreeNode tNode in trv.Nodes)
            {
                tNode.ToolTip = "Some ToopTip";
            }

If you wish, let us know in detail exactly how you are binding your treeview, how and what text you wish to display in the toolip so that we can assist you accordingly.

Hi Mike

Thanks for the reply.I want to display customised tool tip on the mouseover of the node.The tree is binded in the page load event or if anything is save to the database then also the tree refreshes with the saved value n one more node(the saved one) will be added to the tree.I also want to know on which event i have to write.I am using VB language for .net.
"I want to display tool tip on the mouse over of the node."

Response would be greatly appreciated

Thanks!!!!

Well again let me ask you here, what is the data that you wish to display as tooltip, is it a static data, or anything from the database, coz then the approach would be different.
