Default Display web cam in web pages

I need to capture image from web cam and display it in web pages. So far as I know I should use an Activex for that but I don't know which control I shall use to displayed the captured image.
Any idea about the related activex and proper control is appreciated!
Since I'm new in this field I'd be thankful if you provide me with details.
