RadioButtonList

Hi
how can i make one item of a radiobutton list as enable.the checking option must not be there.
eg: i have 2 items in radiobuttonlist,like 'in' and 'out'.if the in option is checked,user must not select the other option.how cani do this,with the help of Javascript or without it?
pls help me
