i want to validate the date into dd/MM/yyyy formate
can you generate the regular expression for that

hey
you take compare validator in front of textbox.
drag and drop control validator and sets its two common properties
1) control to validate 2) Error Message
after this: set
1) property ValueToComapre TO mm/dd/yyyy
2) property Type TO Date
3) property Operator TO DataTypeCheck

This will solve yours problem
