Default Controls not displayed properly

Hi,
    I am developing a page in which using css i have put an image as background on the page,and i have put some controls on a part of the image.but when i display the page on a wider screen the controls shift from their place.plzzzzzzzzzz help

How are you defining how the controls appear on the screen? absolute positioning, relative, manual?
