Default New user registered by the Website Administrator tool

I come accross the following error message at the 5th step when I want to register a new user with the Administrator tool : Minimal length of the password : 7 / no alphanumeric character required : 1.

Despite the fact that the password entered fullfills this requirement, it does not work.

Where and which parameter do I have to change to fix this issue.

I thank you in advance for you help.

Hi there,

"Non alphanumeric" also rules out numbers. So Your1234Password is not considered valid, while Your##12Password is.

Does that help?

Otherwise, take a look here: http://imar.spaanjaars.com/QuickDocId.aspx?quickdoc=472

It shows you the code you need to add to the <system.web> element of your web.config file to override the standard settings.
