Default Database troubles

I am trying to create a database diagram in order to make some relationships using the server explorer window. I recieve an error that says

"The database does not have a valid dbo user or you do not have the permissions to impersonate the dbo user, so database diagramming isn't available. Do you want to make yourself the dbo of the database in order to use database diagramming"

I click yes
and recieve the same error.

I have also tried attaching the database through sql server 2005 and recieve an error that says the database has no sysindexes, etc.

anyone have any ideas
