I have .NET 2.0 application on Windows Mobile 5.0. We created a web service for the application to download data from the server. In development within the network the application and web service works great but outside the network when trying to connect to the server I get the error message below when trying to connect to the web service:

"Unable to connect to the remote server"

I can browse to the web site from the mobile device with no problem. I've seen some solutions to this problem on the net regarding proxy server configurations but we are not running a proxy.
