httpmodule to count number of clicks a specific li

Hi

I am new to http modules, so any help in detail would be very greatfull.

I want to create a http module that basically count the number of clicks a specific link ( <a href="htttp://www.abc.com"> click here</a>) gets from a webpage.

My site is built in vb.net and using SQL server 2000.

Any kind of help would be really really helpful.
