Default Oh! Another Version

Hello to all,

Generally I remain busy throughout the day with a lot of code, frontend, backend, documentations etc. I was assuming that I work on the latest .net technology, i.e. 2.0, but suddenely saw this link and was surprised

Peter, can you provide me some good links where I can study about this framework? Has this been released or is in beta version? What is its compatibility? Vista? Does it come free with Vista? A bit exicted you know!!!

Regards
Mike

It will take some time before ASP.NET 3.5 is released. Word is that it will be released in November 2007, although others say it won't be released until February 2008. We'll see.....

I am currently working on the book Beginning ASP.NET 3.5 with C# and VB.NET and I am sure Wrox is working on a whole lot of other books on the subject.

To learn more about it: wait for the books to arrive, or search Google.....

Cheers,

Imar

Hello Mike,
Currently, if you want to play with 3.5, you can download the Beta Version of VS2K8 from the MSDN. Also the book I just finished working on, Professional IIS 7, uses the 3.5 Framework for the provided examples however the focus of this book is more on IIS and how to integrate with it then on the framework itself.

hth.
