I'm new to ASP.Net and would like to say well done for this great forum and series of books?

I hve a question that hopefully someone can answer. I want to create a check box list using List view. Basically, I want to configure an asp list box so that it displays my rows from the database then sticks a check box in front of each row so the user can pick any or all the rows they want. I see there is a 'select' option but that selects one row then manipulates it I want to set many or all rows then manipulate them. Is this possible simply by using an asp listview.

Not sure about a listview, though I believe a gridview would do the trick. At work, we've even done this kind of thing manually using a stringBuilder object and just written formatted XHTML line by line for custom work.
