Double check that your web.config files are properly set up. I know that when I push stuff to production, I rarely copy my web.config because the servers have different configurations. If that's the case, your production site may not have the info to configure the HttpModule.

You might check with your web host too. Just make sure there's nothing on their end that might be getting in the way.

In the web.config you can follow this code below

<urlrewritingnet rewriteOnlyVirtualUrls="true" contextItemsPrefix="QueryString" defaultPage="default.aspx" defaultProvider="RegEx" xmlns="http://www.urlrewriting.net/schemas/config/2006/07">
<rewrites>
<add name="Weather" virtualUrl="~/nha-trang-weather/(.*).aspx" rewriteUrlParameter="ExcludeFromClientQueryString" destinationUrl="~/name/default.aspx?did=$1" ignoreCase="true"/>

</rewrites>
</urlrewritingnet>
