Default Ajax Extender Controls not working

I downloaded the Ajax control toolkit. But when I start Visual Studio 2008 I dont see a selection for a ajax website template. Could someone Please tell me what to do next. Does downloading the toolkit actually install Ajax on your computer?

Default

Hi there

VS 2008 creates ASP.NET 3.5 applications, not ASP.NET 4, so you're bettter of posting in the 3.5 category instead of the 4.0 category.

That said, just choose File | New Application | ASP.NET Web Application or File | New Web Site. Both types are AJAX enabled by default. You'll see an AJAX Category in the toolbox

Cheers,

Imar
