Using NopCommerce with Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2010 Express. Is this possible?

Can somebody tell me if it's possible to open nopcommerce with VWD 2010 Express?, I want to redesign the nopcommerce default and add a some banner display, etc, but When I open the nopCommerce solution with visual web developer 2010 express, it says that I have some errors , with some nopcommerce folders (libraries, dependencies, etc).
Am I doing something wrong or it just can't be don in VWD 2010?
