Default Install ASP.Net Website (with Masterpage)

I tried to install the website I had been working on during the summer last night, online and was not able to get it to work on this Windows 7 machine, their local server. We tried creating a virtual directory but not able to work. The path was changed from my pages with an additional directory added, which makes it more difficult. There is a website on the server already as I tested it, and the machine is running IIS 7 as shown when you enter the URL http://localhost/.

I am going to the company's luncheon today and I may get a chance to install after, so I am looking for some instructions. I may try to do on my Windows XP Pro machine as I don't think I can do this on my Home Vista.

Any suggestions? And Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Default IIS problem

I am using IIS to generate my barcode project and using windows XP also. However, when I copy the URL to IE8, it did not turn out and I found "could not be found words" on that page. Did I do something wrong?

aspbarcode

I am still waiting for the company to allow me to try to upload again. I wasn't happy when they said, good thing we aren't paying me by the hour. I worked over 200 hours on a project I was paid 120 hours for. And I am happy. But I am still trying to get them to let me finish the job. Fortunately I bugged them enough and they paid me the 120 hours worth of work. I will go into their office, preferably and get it done.

I think my problem is with GoDaddy. I have to trick the path to work on their site. By just having the path be the root with the ~ symbol should work. I just send an email or text message to the company liaison telling them I am willing to get this live on their local server, but the ball is in their court, I have been stood up too many times by them not being around when we have agreed on a time!
