Default Something Wrong

I ordered beginning php4 a while ago and started reading and doing all the examples. I downloaded Easy Php to test my files, and everything worked right. Then i stopped reading the book from being busy for about 2 weeks, came back and tried and nothing worked..like for the very first example:

<?php
echo gmdate("M d Y")
?>

doesnt work...

just says like Today Is:

i tried reinstalling Easy Php, deleted it and got apache friends, didnt work. and then even tried doing it on my website and still nothing..

I think something might be messed up with my computer but i dunno, can anyone help me please :D

Send a message via Yahoo to anshul

echo gmdate("M d Y"); should give a 3-letter abbr. of month and date (number) and year(number).

First check if PHP is installed:
Quote:
quote:<?php
echo phpinfo();
?>
This will display PHP errors in your script:
ini_set('display_errors', '1');

Good luck.
