I'm a new member and just started learning about php.
I don't know the way to install a web server in win xp home edition.
My OS was built-in.
If any of you can, please help.

For this you need a Win Xp CD.
Then in Add and Remove Programs go to windows component in left pane.
check the Internet Information Server and Proceed.

Win XP is not a server OS.
It is meant for general people, not for developers.

So I suggest you use IIS with PHP.
If IIS is not with you, you of course need an Win XP installation CD.

I run a apache 2 + mysql 4 + PHP 5 on a windows XP @ 200MHz !! truely!! and its just fine ^^

I don't know if the Home edition will work in any diffrent way on the wamp install from XP Professional though... but since its free I guess its worth a try.
