 Iam new to PHP & Linux , I have created an Web page in HTML and I have to insert in Linux web server ,... this web page contains Login Option i.e. User name & Password options and some text with colour backgournd .. pls try to solve my issued to make my task to the end.

I don't really understand the problem.

I think your trying to acomplish to much at the same time. And insert a linux web server into what?
Try the following steps first.

1. setup your linux computer to test your website local(http://localhost/. The setup is important for your .php files mainly.
-Install apache and mysql(or any sql)
-the easyest way to install mysql and apache is xampp or easyPhp this will do all configurations for you.

2. Learn the basics of php and sql w3c schools is a exelent site to learn these things.

3. when your done with your website put your website on a webserver.

    thanks i got the enough idea but I ill explain what i did , iam have an unique linux machine and i have adaptef as webserver and iam using Squirrel Mail for mailing Option but i want to creat an own longo page instead of using SM for my company .. for that i have designed in HTML but i want it to covert as PHP and take it into Linux . Is it possible if so how can it be done ..? pls explain me about iam very thursty on it

Regarding the Linux environment I'm afraid I can be of little assistents.
On the php however I can. Can you explain me what the longo page is and what of the html do you need to convert to php. It is not necessary to convert all html to php you only need to convert the code that you want to be dynamic.

Could you post the html code then the problem will be a lot more clear.

   iam Using Squirrel mail Setup of my mail Option...
 Now the Squirrel mail Logon Setup is Very plain u can see it on http://mail.ciba.res.in .. for that i have created an login web page in Microsoft Publisher its all of html code i don't know how can i put this as opening log on page for my company..

    what you need to do is to open the specified PHP file - login.php - in a text editor and update the HTML in there rather than in a sperate file, you may be able to open the PHP file in a tool such as Dreamweaver as you have used Publisher to build the pages, so I guess you won't want to hand code the HTML.
