Default using Dreamweaver

i am building php program using mysql, php, apache, and jpgraph.
But i find difficulty to find the line of my error(especially if on line >300) because i'm using notepad to code. I heard that i can use dreamweaver to code and there's line number in the side of it so that i easily find the line. But is there any configuration that i need to do?
or is there other way to find code it with line number on the side?

Hi there,

IMO, Dreamweaver is a very good solution for your coding needs. It provides lots more features than just line numbers.

If you stick to Notepad, press Ctrl+G to go to a specific line number. Choose View | Statusbar to turn on the statusbar so you can see on what line number and column number you are. I think that Microsoft decided to hide all these advanced features by default, to make the User Interface of Notepad less complicated..... ;)
