Default asp.net with mysql -OR- php with sql server.

I'm interested in asp.net with sql server, and I want to build a particular app withe them.
But some of the app I needed to build it with php, but I want your opinion here:

choice 1: I can use php and connecting it to sql server. I mean inserting data into sql server.
choice 2: I can use asp.net and connect it to mysql. I mean inserting data into mysql.

what choice will not facing coding problems in ?

you can use mysql or mssql as database and php and asp.net also support both databases.
