Default how to use vb6 to access the "IE history folder"

i want use vb to write a program. it is used to record the "IE
history", i am using WinXP,when i try to access the history directory
use this path "C:\Documents and Settings\Nick\Local Settings\History",
and then errors occur.
how to solve this problem?

if i want to write a program get the address in the address box of IE
how to do this?Can i use API to do? but i don't know use which APIs

thanks!

If you really want to get the address in IE, you can muck around with this code (written for VBA/Access, but you should be able to make any necessary changes)
