Default Send message between 2 Projects within a Solution

I'm new to OO programming and is having a simple (hopefully not stupid!) question here.

I have two projects (project A and B) in a solution. They are both windows application and will run on the same machine. I want project A send message / data to project B for communication purpose. I suppose it's not good to use web service or .net remoting since they are running in one machine.

I tried to create a public class in project B so that project A may send message through it. However, I was not able add it to project A as a reference.

Anyone advice would be appreciated!

this is not OO programming, it is just inter-process communication, that is a completeley separate (bad) beast.
There are countless way to do it, it really depends on the type of data you want to share between the processes (and the language you use, it is VB6 or .NET?). Please give us more details.

Thanks Marco.

I'm using VB.net. The message includes a strings with length shorter than 50 characters I suppose. The message can be frequently sent. Once the message is received by project B it will be used immediately.
