I don't know if you can download a learning edition off the web. But I have found a few books that include the VB6 working model on a CD.

There are Good books out there to learn VB6, I am currently studying VB6 programming so I can make games. Im useing the Book "Teach Yourself Visual Basics in 21 days". These books are very good, explains things well.
There are other books and cds to learn from that go really deep into learning VB6. Since im just learning VB6 to program games, I only need a good knowelege of it and The "Teach Yourself book" does just that.
If you ever need a programming partner, let me know, that goes for anyone whos making games with VB6.

Brian
