Default Word Automation

Hi Guys :)

I need to extract data from a word file (i.e tables, strings, symbols, etc.). the extracted data then must be inserted into a database.

Any ideas on how to do that?

Appreciate all you help :)

Open Word as an ActiveX server (WrdObj = CreateObject("Word.Application") probably), and write a procedure that takes the steps you would take if you were accessing the document manually, and put the data you find into your DB.
