Default Running Multiple BizTalk Configurations?

I support several customers who pay us to perform their BizTalk configurations (using BizTalk Server 2002). When developing or supporting these external customers, I need to be able to use the same BizTalk configuration as has been set up for that customer.

At the moment, I run several customer configurations in a single BizTalk environment and I try to keep the various BizTalk components for each customer separate from those for other customers, but this is getting messy.

Ideally, I would like to be able to set up an environment where I can switch from one customer's setup to another. When I am in a particular customer's configuration, I would like to see only those BTS components used by that customer.

I could keep multiple backups of the SQL Server databases (one set for each customer) and then restore each one as required (along with the BizTalk repository, etc), but this isn't really what I am looking for as I want to be able to quickly and easily switch between customer configurations.

I realise that it may be more of a SQL Server question (I'm not a SQL Server expert) than a BTS question, but has anyone done this type of thing successfully?

Thanks in Advance,

Ramin, UK
