Transferring Access Report to Excel

Does anyone know how to automatically transfer a report (that has groupings and calculations) to an excel spreadsheet.

Someone recommeded I use the:
DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet

But I think it may be only for tables and SQL commands. The SQL command doesn't work because I need subtotals.

ANyone have any recommendations.
