Hi there,

I am not sure I understand the question.... What do you mean with adding controls?

The book is not a step by step book; it explains many concepts fro a high level point of view, and then zooms in on a number of important concepts. It's not a step by step tutorial explaining you every step in the process, if that's what you mean. Some background in ASP.NET is definitely recommended.

Thanks Imar.
That is what I meant. I went through the free chapter download and it was a bit much for me.

I appreciate the quick response.

In that case, you could take a look at Beginning ASP.NET 2.0, also from Wrox. Then when you understand a bit more about the technology, you can always revisit this book... ;)

Cheers,

Imar
