Enjoying your book and have spent last week browsing through the 19 pages on this Forum and picked up some great tips particularly the "Publish to Provider" as my host company only allows one SQL database.

With the Blog I can login successfully under the Sql Connection but when I change to the Access DB I get the login failure. I want to get the various Access DBs up and running before upscaling to SQL.

I am using the VWD 2005 Express and just testing the site locally (localhost).

I have made the two web.config changes namely:
 1. DefaultConnectionString
 2. roleManager

The Access Database path is correct.

Any pointers

Thanks for immediate reply - that worked. I did check my printed out errata pages but looked between Chp 5 and Chp 8 and did not look at the very first entry !!!!

Very strange, sorry about the confusing errata order. I'm checking to see if someone can put them in the right sequence. Luckily, there are so few errata with this book. :)
