Hello Sir,
Once again there is something that's not related to book but still hope answers will come from here.
I did google search and also posted the query in asp.net 3.5 basics category here, there was suggestion but I did not get much.
So can you please briefly describe the procedure regarding the topic. And also would the status of users be persistent across multiple browsers?

Thank you.

What topic exactly? You're not really providing a lot of detail...

>> is something that's not related to book

In that case, please post in a general ASP.NET forum: http://p2p.wrox.com/asp-net-asp-12/

Imar

As said in my previous post I did put it in general category here and also did google search.
OK the original problem was as follows.
whenever I browse this forum one thing that strikes to mind is that how we can check that a particular user is online/offline.
that is whenever a user is logged in then he should be shown as online to other users' browser otherwise offline.

thank you.

Then please continue the discussion there. It's not that I don't want to answer you. But your topic is unrelated to this book, so readers visiting this forum to find info about the book find stuff that's not related to it, making it harder to navigate this forum.

Please don't abuse the fact I am watching this forum to get my attention for your posts... ;-)

OK, no problem.
I'll be asking that question somewhere else and also try with more google search. And whenever I find answer I'll post that here.
Thank you sir.

Keep smiling.

Hi guys, looking for the solution?
well Imar Sir had replied it in the original thread. (In general category.)
I've not implemented it yet as I was busy in my exams for a long time.
But I am sure it will work.
Thank you Sir
