Default Unable to upload image using FCKeditorV2

Hi,i develope a site with the help of TheBeerHouse site. i m using FCKeditorV2 for uploading the image, for sending newsletter. When i upload a GIF, JPG and PNG image it works fine but when i tried to upload image JPEG or Bitmap image it does not upload it and show a small icon with a red color cross on it. I dun know wut happend. I read somewhere that FCKeditorV2 only uploads GIF, JPG and PNG images, is it true that FCKeditorV2 has these types of limitations? So, if any one wants to upload a JPEG image or a Bitmap image, what he/she could do? Do any hane any idea?

The people who make FCKeditor have their own support forum so you should probably check there. I don't use this editor much so I can't answer the question.

I personally prefer the simple integrated editor used in the first edition of this book. It's quite a lot like the editor in this Wrox forum. It's extremely simple and not really a highly functional editor like fck.

I prefer the simplest solution so I have more control over my site. I really don't like a huge dependence on advanced code that uses a lot of platform and browser specific code. fck works well on a lot of browsers and platforms because it has a lot of checks and uses specific code for them. If you decide to use fck you have to keep yourself plugged in to their forums and you'll have to load their patches and version updates often. It's definitely quite good, but you have to lean on them to keep it working well as browsers and platforms change.
