I was just wondering if anyone had developed any SOA implementations between the BLL classes and the UI. It looks to me like this would be a highly desirable route to take in further decoupling the dependencies in order to make the frmaework more extensible.

well - i found an article with example code that makes a brave 1st stab on this subject. you can read the article and download the code form here.

it actually makes sense in quite a few scenarios to adopt the wcf layer (such as a web front end that requires to have complete separation from the database - quite a few security auditors now require this for transactional apps).

anyway, if anyone unearths other examples, i'd like to see them.
