Default This is pretty odd...

Take a look at the following:

http://www.dotnetcurry.com/ShowArticle.aspx?ID=329

The author of this article lists "15 Books You Must Have If You Are Doing ASP.NET Web Development".

However, he fails to mention ASP.NET 2.0 Website Programming Problem Design Solution, even though his entire site is nearly an exact rip from TheBeerHouse.

He even re-uses most of Marco's graphics. In fact, he was even still using the beer mug graphics for article ratings until recently, which I always thought was kind of strange.

(Guess what? His site even has most of the same bugs from the BeerHouse too, like the Article title bug.)

This is still a very relevant book, much more so than several of the others mentioned. A shame he didn't see fit to include it in his list of "must-have" books.

I can't even tell you how much I have learned from Marcos book, I'll even go as far as saying that this is THE book that seriously kickstarted web programming for me.

So, you're right, it's a shame that the book isn't mentioned, and I can't recommend this book enough...

I've read a couple of articles on his site, and you're right, it IS TheBeerHouse

I basically posted the same thoughts on the DotNetCurry blog, and this was Suprotim's response:

Quote:
Lee: I cannot agree more. This site is indeed based on the BeerHouse project and I am a huge fan of that book. However please note that the books listed here are on the latest version of each technology - in case of ASP.NET it is 3.5. As mentioned in my disclaimer, I have not mentioned his book since his was based on 2.0. Probably I should have mentioned ASP.NET 3.5 in the title. Anyways, I eagerly await his new book on 3.5 which will hit the stores in September.
Well, I guess that explains that.
