Testing The Beer House Under IIS 7.5
Hello !
I have a question about testing the website under IIS 7.0 environment, the key testing points are the registration system (the user supposed to get an email with registration information) and password recovery page , and finally the Newsletter module.
I tried to test my application under IIS 7.0, but the only thing I get is the EXCEPTIONS !, even I configured my SMTP as the following:
email address: [email protected]
Deliverer email to SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465
Authentication settings:
User name : my gmail user name.
Password & Password Confirmation: my gmail password
even though , settings mentioned above are the same setting in my email client software (windows live mail), so please tell me what is the wrong and help me to get my application work.
And please, don't joke if my question seams stupid, you have to consider that I'm a newbie to ASP.NET
