Question Using Active Directory instead of ENTUserAccount Table

Is it possible to use information from Active Directory instead of creating the ENTUserAccount table?
I am concerned about having the most accurate employee information in the employee table. I know the information in Active Directory will be up to date. When employee information needs to be changed, I don't want to have to change it in a million different places.

You can use Active Directory but you would need some type of identifier to hook the account to the roles defined in the application.

Can we add Active Directory using ENTUserAccount table? Let's say I wanted to authenticate my users with same password they have in LDAP.

Any help would be appreciated.
