Default Registering a new user

How does thephile register a new user. The primarary key of Accounts_Users is UserID, which is automatically incremented.

And the stored procedure sp_Accounts_CreateUser does not check if an email already exists.

When I try to register a new user using an existing email, i get an unexpected error.

Any ideas??

Please search before making a new post. If the topic has not come up before, or if it wasn't answered before, then post a new message.

I am a strantch believer in searching.
To be perfectly honest with you, I DID search before posting.

But p2p does not provide a good search facility. I cannot search only in the 'ASP.NET Website Programming' forum, and thus i get hundreds of records. Its impossible for me to go through every search result.

thanks for providing the link

Sure you can. Click the (almost invisible) Advanced Search link next to the search box and you'll end up here: http://p2p.wrox.com/search.asp

There you can select the forum.

If you get too many records, just add more search terms to your query....
