Email Notification for Forums?
Has anyone created an email notification modification for the posts and replies of the forums module? Just like the functionality of this forum. If yes, I would love to see your code. I have converted all of the Modules to work in the IBUYSPY Portal. I'm just looking for some ideas or examples to look at.
The source projects ASP.Net Forum, and the Community Starter both use dynamic controls with skins. The email notification code is ridiculously scrambled in the code. Itâs like looking at the code with your glasses off. I also have a problem with the lack of documentation for the 2 starter kits. I guess a book would clear up some of the methodologies used to design the code.
I did a search on the subject: "ASP.net email notification". I got 100,000 articles from 100,000 developers that all wrote the same code.
