chapter 2 p34 example doesn't work

I created a project from the codefile Dialog.zip from the download page. It doesn't work, the multichoice component is not displayed, although the OK/Cancel buttons do work.

One of the problem of using the code files directly is that it may include changes discussed later in the book. Some of the changes may actually break things. So, you'll need to carefully go back and see what additional items were added. One way to help you determine the changes made later is to jump ahead to see what changes were later made and reverse them. Check pg 39. It's likely it's because

when you really want
