Default Error trying to export HelloWorld.apk to android device

HelloWorld is successfully running in the emulator
I followed steps in chapter 11 to create a DistibutionKeyStore

However when i attempt to use the "adb install" command it returns "device not found"
I also ran adb devices and there were no devices shown....

My cricket android 2.3 phone is connected to the laptop and shows up as a usb drive for access.

I'm sure it's something silly but i seem to be missing a step for correctly connecting my cell phone.

Hi mdax
Try this:
1 Highlight (click) the project name in package explore. (HelloWorld)
2 Click on the file menu (upper left).
3 Select export.
4 Follow the instructions.
Now you have a file (HelloWorld.apk).
5 Connect you device to the computer and transfer the file to the device.
6 Find and select the API Installer.
7 Follow the instructions and install HelloWorld.
Hope this helps
